QI (very interesting) is a British comedy panel quiz game television show created and co-produced by John Lloyd, hosted by Stephen Fry and Alan Davies with permanent panelist. Most of the questions are very dark, so it is unlikely that the correct answer will be given. To compensate, not only earn points for correct answers, but for the most interesting, regardless of whether they are right or are related to the original question.

Instead, points are deducted from an expert who provides "answers that are not only wrong, but pathetically obvious," usually answers that it is generally believed to be true, but in fact are not. Points are also deducted if a joke is usually obvious answer is given. In addition, bonus points are often awarded or deducted for various problems or incorrect references to a particular place or thing, which vary from show to show.
